Dr. Sue Chan is a 4th generation Californian whose family hails from the Pearl River Delta of Guangdong China. She grew up in the San Francisco East Bay, went to high school in Richmond, UC Berkeley for undergraduate studies then UC Davis for veterinary school and a Masters in Preventive Veterinary Medicine.
She started Veterinary Outreach in 1992 with the mission to help animal owners understand how to better care for and interact with their animals for healthy, happy relationships. In 2007, she started the non-profit California Education Through Animals/CETA Foundation to further promote those goals with projects for the community.
Currently, Dr. Chan is busy keeping the ranch operating and the animals happy while working on the book series The Whisperers’ Way.
